Google adds Emergency Location Service to Android rolling out first in the UK and Estonia
Iniziano ad arrivare le prime indiscrezioni sui nuovi Snapdragon 630, Snapdragon 635 e Snapdragon 660, i chip per smartphone che Qualcomm ha in programma di offrire a breve a tutte le aziende del settore.
Sia lo Snapdragon 630 e Snapdragon 635 saranno le versioni migliorate dello Snapdragon 625, montato sul riuscitissimo Redmi 4 Pro. Lo Snap 625 ha "spaccato" grazie allottima gestione dei consumi e della temperatura, a vantaggio di prestazioni e durata della batteria. Ci� si � tradotto nel grande successo del Redmi 4 Pro che � risultato lo smartphone pi� completo nella fascia dei medio-gamma. Tanto da essere oggeto di paragone del Gale (Galeazzi) nel suo confronto video con un melafonino.
I due nuovi chip saranno basati su otto core Cortex-A73, si prevede inoltre il supporto per le memorie RAM LPDD3, la connettivit� LTE Cat.7 e una sezione grafica gestita tramite GPU Adreno 506.
Lo Snapdragon 660 sar� basato invece sulla tecnologia Samsung a 14nm, con unarchitettura Octa Core composta da quattro core Cortex-A73 e quattro core Cortex-A53.
Attesi inoltre un supporto per le memorie RAM LPDD4X, le memorie di massa UFS 2.1, fotocamere fino a 24 megapixel e connettivit� LTE Cat.10. Lo Snapdragon 660 dovrebbe debuttare attorno alla fine della prossima estate.
