Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum: MODS and How Tos
Good day AndroidHowdies!
This will be my first article about Cherry Mobile development! On this article, we will discuss all about the development of Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum (CMOS) specifically on rooting, flashing custom recovery preferably ClockworkMod (CWM) recovery and ROM / Firmware as well.
As you can see, Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum has Broadcom Technology on-board. If you have noticed, Spectrum has been manufactured with a rare chipset architecture which made it difficult to mod due to the lesser number of developers of this kind of device having same architecture. In this case, theres a lot of Spectrum users tend to worry a lot and regret from buying the smartphone since it has low development potential.
End your worries Spectrum users because after reading and following this article, youll gain hope on developing your Omega-phablet device.
Here are the guides on how to root, flash custom recovery such as CWM and ROMs available for Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum. Spectrum still has few mods and development but soon we can enjoy and get tired of the tweaks available on it. :D

How To ROOT Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum
Rooting an android phone nowadays is as easy as installing an app, no need of fancy and a lot of stuffs, the same goes well with Spectrum. Aside from the popular Framaroot rooting android app, another android application has the same function with Framaroot plus with added features, called RootMaster.
Root Omega Spectrum with RootMaster
Instructions:1. Download and install RootMaster app on your android phone. (To install it, make sure installing from Unknown source is enabled on your phones Settings -- Security.)
2. Open RootMaster app on from your Spectrums app drawer.
3. Tap Get ROOT.
4. Wait for the process to be done. Reboot your phone and verify it by installing Root Checker on your phone.
Alternatively, Root your Omega Spectrum with PC / Laptop using Kingo

Note: This will revert your recovery to Stock.
Files needed:
- Recovery Tools app
- Stock recovery image for Omega Spectrum - Download Here
2. Install Recovery Tools and open it.
3. Select I know the risk.
4. Select Flash Recovery
5. Tap Other from storage
6. Choose and flash CMOS_stock_recovery.img
7. Wait and Reboot. Done.
How To Flash Custom Recovery
Fortunately, Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum currently has a CWM recovery port available. This is already a good start. Soon, we will be able to have TWRP and I will also try my best to provide one. For now, lets enjoy the CWM Recovery for Spectrum.
Flashing ClockworkMod (CWM) recovery on Omega Spectrum
Requirements:
- Rooted Omega Spectrum (Old build version) - Please backup your Stock Recovery first if youre not sure or else it wont boot to recovery, follow this guide.
- Recovery Tools app
- CWM recovery image for Spectrum - Download Here
1. Download all the requirements and put it in your SDcard.
2. Install Recovery Tools app which you have downloaded above. (Make sure to enable Unknown source is enabled on your phones Settings -- Security to install it.)
2. Open Recovery Tools on app your phones app drawer. Wait and grant Superuser rights / root-access.
3. You will be asked to backup your current recovery, please proceed to make a backup. There are cases that the backup will not work, this separate guide is our alternative way to backup the current stock recovery. If you have the backup stock recovery already, keep it just in case we encounter issues then proceed to step 4.
4. Now, tap on Flash Recovery and select Other from Storage.
5. Find and select recovery_cwm_cmoSpectrum.img and wait for the flashing to finish.
6. When asked to Reboot to recovery, select YES.
7. Wait for your phone to reboot in CWM recovery to verify the changes.
8. Done!
ROM / Firmware available for Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum
As of now, we dont have ROMs, either stock or custom, available for this device. However, we will soon update this article for the ROMs that are already prepared for flashing.
I will do my best to contribute and develop our Omega Spectrum. Good luck to us!

Sebenarnya Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo belum tamat sepenuhnya. Mungkin kalian penasaran bagaimana kelanjutan dari Sorata dan kawan-kawan di asrama Sakurasou. Sekilas info, di Animenya Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo berakhir di Vol 6 dan dilanjutkan di Vol 7 untuk versi Light Novelnya.
Dari sumber yang mimin dapat, benar-benar mengejutkan apa yang terjadi dengan penghuni asrama Sakurasou khususnya Sorata dan Mashiro serta Aoyama. Berikut ini ulasannya.

Oke, bagi penggemar anime sakurasou no pet na kanojo, sebenarnya animenya belum tamat begitu aja.. karena masih ada 4 volume novelnya yang tidak dijadikan anime, Lumayan nyesek kelanjutannya.. berikut kisahnya...
Novel : Sakurasou no pet na kanojo.
Volume : Gomen, ini saya ringkas karena kepanjangan ( 7 - 10 (END) )

Q. Pada volume LN keberapa anime sakurasou berakhir?
A. Pada volume 6 anime berakhir, sedangkan Novelnya ada 10 volume
Q. Jadi apa yang terjadi?
A. Sial.
Q. Jadilah lebih spesifik?
A. gadis terbaik kalah
Q. Jadi, endingnya adalah Sorata x Mashiro ?
A. Memang. Berikut adalah Gambarnya :
"Sorata ...?"
Tidak dapat mengandung emosinya, Sorata mempercepat langkahnya. "Aku mencintaimu,
Mashiro!" Katanya. Pada saat itu, ia berlari.
"Sorata!"
Mashiro terkejut juga. Dia tersandung kakinya sendiri, dia dengan terjatuh dan berlari panik.
Dia berlari menuju Sorata. Meraih dia, dia mengulurkan tangannya. dengan Sungguh-sungguh,
pikirannya terarah, seolah-olah dia dirasuki ...
"Sorata!"
Pada akhirnya, dia terjun ke arahnya, menyandarkan dirinya di dadanya.Q. Kapan itu terjadi ?
A. Akhir volume 8. Sorata memilih antara Nanami dan Mashiro. Setelah sebelumnya menjadi egois dan mengabaikan Mashiro sepenuhnya di novel volume 5/6, lalu sekarang dia memutuskan bahwa dia mencintai mashiro shiina dan mereka mulai berkencan di volume 9.
Q. Apa yang terjadi dengan Nanami?
A. Dia pergi menggunakan bus dan hampir tidak pernah disebutkan lagi di Novel. Untuk lebih spesifik: Nanami pergi pada awal volume 9, jadi ini terjadi setelah Sorata dan Mashiro pacaran. Novel menjelaskan seperti ini:
Jadi cerita di sini adalah bahwa ia telah melanggar peraturan sekolah sejak dia mendapat dukungan keuangan orangtuanya di akhir anime, dan dia akhirnya tertangkap di atasnya.
Dia juga memotong rambutnya di volume terakhir, menunjukkan bahwa ia telah menyerah dalam hal menarik hati sorata.
Q. Apa yang terjadi dengan pasangan lain? (Jin x Misaki, Ryuunosuke x Rita, dll)
A. Jin dan Misaki tetap bahagia. Rita masih dengan sia-sia mengejar Ryuunosuke, bahkan dalam epilog menetapkan empat tahun setelah timeline utama. Hubungan mereka benar-benar statis. Tidak ada perubahan.
Q. Bagaimana dengan pendatang baru ke asrama yang diperkenalkan di episode terakhir? Apakah mereka mendapatkan backstory di light novel?
A. Mereka mendapatkannya.
Iori, seorang musisi. Kanna, novelis.
Iori adalah orang mesum yang menyukai gadis cantik, semua gadis kecuali Kanna, tapi seperti yang kita semua tahu bahwa sebenarnya berarti dia diam-diam menyukainya. Kanna jatuh cinta dengan Sorata.
Dengan definisi konvensional harem (3 + gadis tertarik) ini berarti Sorata adalah tokoh utama harem sekarang. Ya.
Q. Apa yang terjadi pada Chihiro-sensei dan Kazuki (orang pengembang game)?
A. Mereka tidak disebutkan dalam epilog.
Q. apakah Sorata dan Mashiro mencium?
A. iya , mereka melakukan lebih dari ciuman.
Sorata bukan lagi seperti dulu. Dia merasa suasana tajam, dan mengatakan kepadanya apa yang dia ingin tahu. Waktunya sekarang.
Dengan hati-hati, dia menaruh tangannya di bahu Mashiro itu. Dia gemetar dalam reaksi. Dan kemudian, tanpa ragu-ragu, ia membungkuk sedikit dan menciumnya. Seperti bibir mereka bertemu lagi dan lagi, mereka jatuh di tempat tidur, di mana kejatuhan mereka rusak oleh gunung pakaian terbalut seluruh seprai. :v (if you know what i mean ? mereka berhubungan vrohh)
Beristirahat di punggungnya, Mashiro menatap Sorata dengan mata berkabut. Hati mereka masing-masing berdebar dengan perasaan yang sama.
Mashiro cantik, Sorata berpikir, sehingga tak tertahankan perasaan sorata. Dia ingin
memeluknya dan memilikinya.
"Mashiro ..."
"... Ya."
Q. Jadi ... mereka melakukan hal itu?
A. Iya, Hal ini sangat tersirat di akhir volume 9.
Ada juga "pagi setelah" percakapan yang mereka miliki di awal volume 10 (teks yang diatas tadi) :
"Ini dingin," gumam Mashiro mengantuk dalam keluhan.
"Itu karena kau tidur tanpa pakaian."
Bermaksud untuk membangunkannya, Sorata mendorong dahi Mashiro menjauh dari sandaran tubuhnya.
"Nrgh ..." Akhirnya, Mashiro membuka matanya. Dia menatap Sorata, berkedip karena terkejut.
"Ini dingin."
Sayangnya, mashiro belum mau bangun. Sekali lagi, Mashiro meringkuk melawan tubuh Sorata itu.
"Pakailah piyama itu! Kenapa kau seperti ini? "
"Ini salahmu." Mata mengutuk nya tampak untuk melihat kanan melalui dia.
"Oh benar-benar sekarang. Mari kita dengar alasan Anda. "
"Kau mengambil bajuku."
"Urk! Ahem! "Katanya terbata-bata.
"Apakah kau kedinginnan?"
"Tidak! Itu karena Anda mengatakan sesuatu yang aneh! "
"Itu adalah kebenaran."
"W-Yah, itu memang mungkin terjadi, tapi saya jelas mengatakan kepada Anda untuk menempatkan piyama sebelum Anda tidur, ingat?"
"Aku lakukan."
"Mari kita melakukan ini lagi, kenapa kamu telanjang?"
"Aku tidak bisa menemukan celana saya."
"Oh? Hm, bukan di suatu tempat di sekitar sana ...? "
"Kau mengambil celana saya"
"Oh, benar! Aku yang terakhir yang menyentuh mereka! "
Q. Apakah Sorata benar-benar berubah menjadi cabul seperti itu?
A. Ya. Ini membingungkan bagaimana kepribadiannya tampaknya telah berubah 180 derajat, setelah ia berkencan dengan mashiro shiina
"Apakah Anda benar-benar ingin berhubungan seks sebanyak itu?"
"Tentu saja!"
"Apakah itu satu-satunya hal yang ingin Anda lakukan?"
"T-Tidak mungkin sama sekali! I-Itu karena aku mencintaimu aku ingin melakukannya dengan
Anda! Jadi jangan bilang aku hanya ingin melakukan hal semacam itu. Jelas tidak! "Tegasnya berapi-api. Dia benar-benar panik, dan keputusasaannya tampak lebih canggung dan sedap
dipandang oleh kedua. Mashiro tidak terkesan.
"Aku-aku mencintaimu, Mashiro!"
"Kau mencintai tubuh ku?"
"Semua itu, maksudku kalian semua! Aku mencintai segala sesuatu tentang Anda, Mashiro! "
"Benarkah?"
"Benar-benar!"
terdiam . Itu jelas dia sedang menunggu sesuatu. Keheningan terus.
Mashiro menatapnya penuh harap. Dia pikir dia ingin dia mengulang dirinya sendiri.
"Aku mencintaimu dengan segenap hati dan jiwa saya." Perlahan - dan jelas - dia
menempatkan perasaannya dengan kata-kata.
"... Oke."
wajahnya memerah sedikit, Mashiro tersenyum.
Q. Jadi apa yang terjadi di akhir volume 10?
A. Sorata dan Mashiro putus. Mereka menyadari bahwa meskipun mereka saling mencintai,hubungan mereka terlalu merusak dan dia tidak bisa mencapai impiannya selama ia membandingkan dirinya Mashiro. Perpisahan mereka sangat menyedihkan dan sangat mirip sesuatu yang keluar dari film tahun 90-an drama Korea.
Itu terlalu sedih ... Bahkan ketika mereka masih saling mencintai, mereka masih berpikir bahwa lebih baik jika mereka berpisah.
"Itu benar."
Nadanya hangat saat ia menanggapi dia. "Saya pikir itu yang terbaik." Dia jatuh cinta dengan suaranya. Angin mendesah. Udara, masih dingin, mati rasa dia ke inti.
"Dan kemudian ..."
Dia mengatakan apa-apa padanya.
"Lalu aku bisa mendukung impian Anda, Sorata ..." Sisi wajahnya tampak hanya sedikit meringkuk kesakitan.
"Good luck dengan manga Anda," ia berteriak. Kata-kata mengalir dari hatinya.
"Ya. Anda bekerja keras juga, Sorata. "
Saat itulah sorata menangis sambil melihat senyum di bibir mashiro, memancar dengan maksimal, kebaikan lembut. Itu terlihat ia belum pernah melihat sampai sekarang, yang terbesar dari dia tersenyum.
Q. ... Tapi mereka kembali bersama-sama pada akhirnya, kan?
A. Tentu saja. Bab berikutnya melompat ke depan empat tahun dan tiba-tiba Sorata menjadi seorang pengembang game yang sukses, setelah itu tanpa sengaja ia kembali Reuni dengan
Mashiro shiina di sekolahnya :
"Mashiro," dia berteriak, beralih ke wajahnya.
"Apa itu?" Mashiro membalikkan tubuhnya ke arahnya juga.
"Aku selalu mencintai Anda, walau 4 tahun sudah berlalu"
Dia mengatakan apa-apa. Matanya melebar karena terkejut.
"Aku mencintaimu selama lebih dari empat tahun."
Dengan lembut, ia mengulurkan tangannya.
"Kita mungkin bersatu lagi." Mashiro memegang tangannya sendiri dekat dengan dadanya.
"Ya." Dia benar.
"Kita mungkin memiliki perasaan yang lebih baik lagi."
"Ya." Dia benar tentang hal itu, juga.
"Kita mungkin saling menyakiti lagi ?"
"Ya." Dia benar-benar benar tentang semua hal. "Meski begitu ..."
Perasaannya, empat tahun tunas, yang membuka seperti bunga mekar. Seolah-olah waktu itu
sendiri mengalir secara terbalik, mengubah jam menuju saat itu telah berlalu tahun yang lalu.
"Apa itu?"
"Aku pikir kita bisa mengatasinya saat ini."
Ketika ia menoleh ke belakang, empat tahun kewalahan dia. Pada saat itu, ia merasa seolah-olah ia telah menjadi agak lebih dewasa. Melihat Mashiro seperti sekarang ini, pikirnya, adalah bukti yang ia butuhkan untuk percaya bahwa ini adalah awal yang baru. Dia ingin terus bersama. Dan dia ingin tahu semua tentang perasaan ini yang telah menyerang dia ketika mereka bersatu kembali. Mudah-mudahan, ia tidak sendirian dalam hal ini lagi.
Mata Mashiro sedikit tertunduk. Dia mengatakan apa-apa. Ada apa-apa untuk mengatakan. Dia hanya mengulurkan tangan perlahan dan memegang tangan Sorata, merekapun kembali bersatu setelah 4 tahun berpisah.

Everything you see on your monitor is made of pixels. If you zoom into your computer monitor, basically it is made of basic blocks (usually square shaped) called pixels. But as they are very small and closely packed, you are not able to notice them. Every monitor doesnt have the same number of pixels.
Resolution (skip if you know)
It is (number of pixels lengthwise) x (number of pixels widthwise). For eg. iPhone 3GS has a resolution of 320 x 480 when you hold the phone in portrait mode. iPhone 4 / 4S has 960 x 640 as their resolution. A full HD (High Definition) monitor has 1920 x 1080 pixels. More the resolution, more is the image detail/clarity. Will you be able to show more details with a 10x10 grid of dots or a 100x100 grid of dots? Think about it.
Pixel components (skip if you know)
Each pixel can do only one thing - "They can display a color". A pixel has three basic components - R, G and B. They are the primary colors, and combining them in various ways, we can make thousands (or millions, in latest monitors) of other colors. Usually each color is represented with one byte (8 bits, so value range is 0 - 255). So put together for each pixel you will have total of 3 x 8 bits = 24 bits or 3 bytes of color information.
For eg.
black (R = 0, G = 0, B = 0)
white (R = 255, G = 255, B = 255)
Introducing Alpha (skip if you know)
Apart from R, G and B, there is another component for a pixel, its called Alpha. Alpha = Transparency. Often pixels can be overwritten on top of each other, when that happens they are "mixed" according to their alpha levels. So R, G, B and A are the components of a pixel, which takes 32 bits per pixel. Understand there are more ways to represent a pixel, its not always 32 bits, but it is the most advanced pixel format, and enables an individual pixel to represent the max number of colours.
So, what are pixel shaders ?
Now that you know what pixels are, pixel shaders are nothing but programs, very similar to a C program. Next paragraph is very important.
Now that we know the basics, let us get started with
1) what can be done in a pixel shader,
2) how it can be done and
3) what information we have access to in the next chapter !

A pixel shader is run for every pixel, before getting displayed on the screen. So let us say we have 1920 x 1080 pixels for a full screen game, which is a total of 2073600 pixels, which means a pixel shader is run that many times! But that is okay because they are all run on the GPU, instead of the CPU (Graphics processing unit, a special hardware dedicated to graphics, present nowadays on almost all computers).
