1. Instal Driver Xiaomi di PC atau Laptop kamu terlebih dahulu
2. Aktifkan Xiaomi Redmi 4X kamu, lalu
3. Pastikan Sudah login Mi Account pada Redmi 4X nya.
4. Aktifkan mode pengembang (developer Mode), caranya Masuk ke �Setting� > About Phone > Tekan MIUI Version 7 kali.
5. Buka Kunci OEM, caranya Masuk ke �Setting� > Additional Setting > Open OEM Key
6. Lalu masuk Developer Options > Mi Unlock Status > Tekan �Add Account and devices�
7. Buka browser di PC atau Laptop kamu koneksikan ke internet, lalu
8. Temukan Redmi 4X kamu dengan buka mi cloud atau klik https://i.mi.com di browser
9. Klik Find Device, pastikan Redmi 4X kamu terdeteksi dengan alarm dan tunggu sampai Redmi 4X kamu berdering.
10. Buka aplikasi MiFlashUnlock.exe lalu pilih Agree
11. Masukan Mi Account yang sama dengan Redmi 4X kamu
12. Matikan Redmi 4X terlebih dahului, lalu
13. Masuk ke mode fastboot dengan cara tekan tombol VOLUME DOWN + POWER secara bersamaan dan tunggu sampai logo Fastboot muncul
14. Koneksikan Redmi 4X kamu dengan PC atau laptop tadi
15. Putus koneksi internet selama � 10 detik
16. Sambungkan kembali koneksi internet kamu selama � 10 detik
17. Lalu tekan unlock, dan tunggu sampai proses selesai, dan R4X akan Restart secara langsung
18. SELAMAT! Redmi 4X kamu telah ter Unlock Boot Loader nya.

Unlock Bootloader (UBL) adalah suatu cara untuk membuka kunci bootloader pada prangkat smartphone, untuk perangkat smartphone XIAOMI menggunakan tool �Mi Unlock�, selama proses unlock dibutuhkan akses internet dengan akun Mi yang telah terdaftar dan disetujui permohonan akses unlock bootloader sebelumnya".
Dikutif dari miui.web.id �xiaomi sudah mulai me-lock bootloader pada redmi Note 3 sejak pertama kali diluncurkan, yang tujuannya untuk melindungi keselamatan data pengguna".
Seperti yang Xiaomi ungkap sebelumnya, Xiaomi akan membuat perubahan yang sama untuk Seri Mi lainnya secara bertahap. Dan Device selanjutnya seperti Mi 4c dan Mi Note Pro. Mungkin Juga untuk perangkat teranyar Xiaomi kedepannya.
Anda ingin tahu perbedaan perangkat lock bootloader dan unlock bootloader ?
Pada prangkat lock bootloader
- Biasanya tidak akan mempengaruhi update OTA
- Akses ROOT akan dinonaktifkan
- Untuk memperbarui perangkat via recovery perlu menggunakan Mi PC Suite
Sedangkan, pada unlock bootloader
- Biasanya tidak akan mempengaruhi update OTA. Namun ada sebagian pengguna yang mengganti sistem recovery menjadi recovery TWRP tidak dapat melakukan update via OTA dikarenakan fitur TWRP yang tidak menyediakan fitur tersebut
- Akses ROOT akan diaktifkan
- System recovery dapat digantikan dengan sistem recovery TWRP
Jika Anda sendiri tidak mengerti banyak hal tentang dunia Android mulai dari Flashing ROM, costom ROM, ROOTing, costom recovery TWRP, tweak dll. Unlock Bootloader sangat tidak disarankan, karena dapat menyebabkan kerusakan serius pada perangkat Anda atau data pribadi.

Tutorial ini bisa dikatakan pengalaman saya pribadi, dengan mencari berbagai sumber tutorial unlock bootloader yang membuat saya sedikit kebingungan untuk melakukan proses UBL pada prangkat smartphone XIAOMI saya.
Mau tahu bagaimana caranya saya sukses 100 % berulang kali unlock bootloader ?
Tutorial ini saya bagi dengan dua tahap :
- Tahap Pertama, melakukan request atau permohonan unlock bootloader ke website http://en.miui.com/unlock/
- Tahap Kedua, proses unlock boot loader menggunakan tool Mi unlock
Persiapan :
- Perangkat Smartphone XIAOMI
- Komputer Bersistem OS Windows 7, 8 (8,1), 10 atau yang terbaru
- Kabel data XIAOMI atau yang sejenis yang berkualias baik
- Memiliki koneksi internet yang stabil
- Sudar memiliki akun Mi (kalau belum silahkan daftar terlebih dahulu (www.account.xiaomi.com)
- Download driver qualcomm 64 bit / qualcomm 34 bit untuk driver prosesor MTK (download sesuai tipe prosesor smartphone) *Abaikan saja kalau sudah terinstall MiFlashtool pada qualcomm prosesor
- Download Mi Unlock / mirror link
- Download ROM Fastboot China Developer
Catatan :
Sebelumnya saya mewajibkan untuk Download ROM China Developer, karena dapat info dari sahabat miuipedia.com, tidak harus pindah ke ROM China Developer ternyata juga sukses melakukan Unlock Bootloader.
Saran saya cobalah terlebih dahulu unlock dengan ROM MIUI yang ada anda gunakan sekarang, apabila gagal verifikasi stop pada 50% baru pindah ROM China Developer.
Tahap Pertama Permohonan Unlock Bootloader (Apply Unlock Bootloader)
Lanjutkan dengan mengklik kembali Unlock Now.
Akan muncul formulir pengisian untuk permohonan Unlock Bootloader pada kolom �please input your name� isi sesuai nama yang dikehendaki (tanpa spasi) �please input your mobile number� masukkan no handphone Anda, dan pada kolom pengisian �please state the real reason for unlocking in English. Copied reason might get your request rejected!� isi pesan dalam bahasa Inggris !!!
Gunakan google translate apabila kesulitan menulis alasan permohonan.
Isi dengan alasan Anda ingin unlock bootloader misal dengan menulis �I will install costom ROM Redmi note 3 Pro. I will modify xiaomi device� *sesuaikan dengan perangkat smartphone Anda.
Apabila muncul pesan �Please input correct name� itu artinya ada kesalahan dalam penulisan nama, jangan gunakan spasi.
Naah.. Sekang apa harus harus Anda lakukan...?
Menunggu.... Ya menunggu.... mungkin sedikit membosankan bagi yang sangat berkeinginan melakukan proses selanjutnya.... Hehehe
Permohonan unlock bootoader tersebut akan diproses lebih kurang 10 hari namun Pengalaman saya sendiri memakan waktu kurang lebih 4 hari tergantung kondisi dan situasi dilapangan hehe... di CS-Nya XIAOMI. Apabila mendapatkan persetujuan akan mendapat pesan SMS dari XIAOMI.
�You�ve been granted the permission tu unlock your device (Mi Account [akun Anda]) download mi Unlock Tool at http://en.miui.com/unlock/�

Karena yang mengirim permohonan bukan Anda saja, bukan di negara Indonesia saja tapi juga para pengguna perangkat smartphone XIAOMI di dunia yang ingin melakukan proses unlock bootloader.
Saya bocorin trik saya hehe
Saya pernah melakukan pada suatu permintaan unlock bootloader menggunakan email sukses tanpa harus menunggu konfirmasi hingga 10 hari sama sekali.
Anda boleh mencoba beberapa hari kedepan mungkin 3 atau 4 hari tanpa menunggu SMS persetujuan unlock bootloader pada hal akun Mi gak saya aktifkan di device cuman buat daftar proses unlock bootloader aja ... :D
Anda dapat mencoba tool MiFlash Unlock apabila sukses akan muncul tampilan smarphone sedang akan dihubungkan dengan kabel data. Namun apabila belum disetujui akan muncul pesan.
�Your device isn�t supported by Mi Unlock�.
Tahap Kedua, melakukan proses unlock bootloader dengan menggunakan Mi Unlock tool
Oh.. iya pastikan Akun Mi anda sudah terlihat "online" pada smartphone yang akan di unlock untuk memastikan nya anda dapat mengunjungi website
Setelah anda loging, dilanjutkan dengan mengklik pada tab menu find device, tunggu beberapa saat akan terlihat status devices, apakah dalam keadaan online atau tidak, apabila terlihat "online" dapat lanjutkan dengan langkah selanjutnya.
Kemudian Extrak Tool Mi Unlock yang sudah Anda donwload sebelumnya pada direktori yang mudah ditemukan dan klik MiFlashUnlock.exe, akan muncul pesan peringatan dan dilanjutkan dengan mengklik �agree�
Apabila sukses akan terlihat menu �unlock�
Pertama, sebelumnya aktifkan dahulu Buka Kunci OEM [OEM unlocking] pada opsi pengembang, setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan mematikan daya smartphone XIAOMI dan masuk ke mode fastboot dengan menggunakan kombilasi tombol volume bawah + power hingga muncul tampilan MUI BUNNY sedang oprak robot android.
Kedua, hubungkan kabel data dari pc ke smartphone, tampilan Mi Unlock akan menjadi seperti ini.
Dan dilanjutkan dengan mengklik unlock, proses unlock akan berjalan hingga mencapai 100% apabila stop pada 50% dan muncul pesan �couldn�t verfy device�
Hal ini terjadi karena beberapa kesalahan seperti :
- Lupa mengaktifkan Buka Kunci OEM [OEM unlocking] pada opsi pengembang
- Tidak menggunakan ROM Depelover China, walaupun saya sendiri pernah unlock menggunakan ROM Global Stabel namun lebih banyak gagal dari pada suksesnya
Dan kembali pada langkah sebelumnya, coba kembali proses unlock bootloader, namun saya menyarankan untuk meng logout terlebih dahulu sebelum mencoba kembali.
Unlocked Successfully.... !!! Selesai sampai disini selamat, anda Sukses Unlock Bootloader Dengan Baik.
hmm... berkeinginan hanya untuk Fix 4G LTE pada ROM GLOBAL STABLE yang hilang pada pengaturan Jaringan Prioritas ?
Apabila iya...
Yang harus Anda lakukan update ROM pack file "zip" stable global menggunakan aplikasi pembaruan, apabila gagal "verifikasi pembaruan" sewaktu masih menggunakan ROM Developer China.
Kembali flash ROM menggunakan ROM Global Stabel Flash ROM menggunakan Miflash dan coba kembali update pack file "zip"
Smartphone Anda sudah pernah unlock bootloader dan kembali device locked bootloader, dikarekan proses flashing ROM menggunakan miFlash, yang Anda harus lakukan tidak harus mengaktifkan Akun mi di device, atau mengaktifkan fitur membuka OEM device Xiaomi dan juga tidak perlu lagi harus menggunakan ROM Developer China lagi. Langsung saja masuk ke mode fastboot dan lakukan lagi proses unlock bootloader menggunakan tool Mi Unlock seperti sebelumnya. Dengan catatan devices yang pernah di unlock harus sama dengan Akun Mi yang pernah digunakan.

Flashing a Global ROM on a Snapdragon based Xiaomi phone without a Bootloader Unlock
One of the limitations with Xiaomis new bootloader locking policy is that a user can only unlock the bootloader of one device every 30 days, and then only after you have successfully applied for your Mi account to have this right.
When importing a Xiaomi phone from China, you will find that the installed ROM will either be a genuine Chinese Xiaomi ROM, without pre-installed Google Services and with some settings not tailored for the western market, or a shop ROM, which has Google Services and western-centric settings, but will never get any updates.
Some of Xiaomis devices (usually those available in other markets, such as India) have Global ROMs, which are official Xiaomi ROMs with western-centric settings that will get updates for the supported life of the device. It is these that are the most suitable for the western market - if they are available!
In a previous post, I outlined the method by which you could change from the stock Chinese ROM to a Global ROM, but this involved requesting a bootloader unlock. It also assumes you have a stock Chinese ROM and not a modified shop ROM.
In this post I will describe how to flash the Global ROM without requiring an unlocked bootloader from any firmware.
This should also work to get back to a stock Chinese image if your device is shipped with a shop ROM.
Suitability
This procedure is suitable for all Xiaomi devices who have a Snapdragon based SoC, e.g. the Mi 5, Mi 4s, Redmi Note 3 Pro, Redmi 3, Redmi 3 Pro etc.
We will need to download the following ROM images and tools before proceeding:
Mi Flash tool
Global Fastboot ROM (for the relevant device)
15 second adb installer (if adb and fastboot are not already installed on your PC)
Stage 1 - Installing the Mi Flash tool
Install the Mi Flash tool. This will copy the relevant Qualcomm drivers onto the hard drive in addition to installing the tool. Dont worry about any instructions that pop up during and after installation. Just go ahead and install.
Stage 2 - Enabling USB Debugging
To use adb, we will need to enable USB debugging.
On the phone, Go to:
Settings / About Phone & press 7 times on the "MIUI version" section to Enable Developer Options
Settings / Additional Settings / Developer Options / Enable USB Debugging
In order to bypass the locked bootloader, we need to enter EDL mode. This is accomplished via adb.
adb devices (to make sure the phone is connected)
adb reboot edl
Stage 4 - Change the QHUSB_BULK driver to the Qualcomm HS-USB driver
In EDL mode, we need to change the default QHUSB_BULK driver that Windows installs with the proper Qualcomm HS-USB driver that is present in the Mi Flash tool installation folder.
1. Open Device Manager on the PC and locate the QHUSB_BULK driver.
2. Right click & Update Driver Software
3. Select Browse my computer for driver software
4. Locate C:Program Files (x86)XiaomiMiPhoneQualcomm
5. Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
6. Select Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
At this stage, I got an error message saying that the USB device could not be recognised. I powered the device off and back on by holding down the Power button and went back to Stage 3 to return to EDL mode.
Once complete, the new Qualcomm driver should be present in Device Manager in the following location:
Ports (COM & LPT) / Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
Stage 5 - Unpacking the Fastboot driver
Locate the downloaded Fastboot .tgz file and unpack it completely. I used 7-Zip to accomplish this.
Unpack the .tgz file to a .tar
Unpack the tar file to a folder containing the image
Stage 6 - Flashing via Mi Flash
Run the Mi Flash tool, that is now installed on the PC.
1. Locate the unzipped global images folder using the Browse button (where the batch files are located)
2. Select Refresh, which should pick up the device.
3. Select "Flash all" as the flash option
4. Hit the Flash button.
Once complete, remove the cable, power down and reboot.
If flash fails
While the procedure worked perfectly for me, if for any reason the flash failed and you need to re-enter EDL mode without being able to boot, you can do the following:
1. Enter Fastboot mode through Power & Volume Down
2. Type the following fastboot commands
fastboot devices (to ensure the phone is connected)
fastboot oem edl
The above should return you to EDL mode.

Unlocking the Bootloader on a MIUI 8 Xiaomi phone
It has been a while since I have unlocked the bootloader of a Xiaomi phone, and the process seems to have changed somewhat since I last performed this procedure, so I thought I would document the process.
There are a number of stages to this process, which takes a minimum of 3 days to complete:
1. Register for a Mi account & log into the phone with this account, if not already done
2. Request the Unlock privilege for your Mi account
3. Enrol the device for an Unlock
4. Wait 72 hours
5. Unlock the bootloader with the Windows Mi Flash Unlock tool.
Mi Account
The Unlock tool will require that the phone is logged into the same Xiaomi account in order for the unlock process to be successful, so ensure you have set yourself up with a Mi account and signed into the phone using this account.
I tend to ensure I have posted a few items on the MIUI forum before I make a request as, during the request process, it states that they will take the activity of your account into consideration when they are making the decision to grant you the unlock privilege.
If the request is denied, you have to wait 30 days to re-apply, so better to be safe than sorry!
The first thing you will need to do is to make sure you have applied for Unlock rights for your Mi account. This can be done here:

Try to make the given reason for unlocking something specific, rather than generic, as your request is more likely to be granted this way.
The time between application and hearing back from the MIUI team seems to vary. The last time I applied the request was granted after just a few minutes, but previous applications have taken days!
Setting up the phone
Before you can successfully unlock the phone using the unlocking tool you will need to enrol the phone into the scheme, which is performed in Developer Options.
1. Go to Settings / About Phone
2. Press MIUI version 7 times to enable Developer options
3. Go to Settings / Additional Settings / Developer options
4. Click on Mi Unlock status
5. Click on Add account and device
Note that if you get an error code of 86006 then download and flash the latest Developer ROM through the built-in Updater app:

Three Day Wait
After enrolling the phone, Xiaomi require that 72 hours (3 days) must elapse before the bootloader can be unlocked with Xiaomis MiFlash Unlock Tool.
If you attempt to unlock during this period, the process will get to 99% before displaying an error message requesting you wait 72 hours.
Unlocking the bootloader
Once the phone is enrolled and 72 hours have passed, you can use the Unlock tool.
This can be downloaded from the MIUI Unlock site once your unlock request has been granted:

On a Windows PC, extract the zip file to a temporary folder and run the miflash_unlock.exe tool.
Log on using the same Mi account that you have signed into the device with and follow the on screen prompts, which involve booting the phone into Fastboot with Power and Volume Down.
